EXPLORE OUR AMAZING FOREST LODGE HOLIDAYS
At Rosliston, we have six beautiful Forest Lodges where you can enjoy a short break or longer holiday, at any time of the year. Each lodge is privately situated in its own secluded corner of woodland and offers a full range of self-catering holiday facilities. All lodges are also wheelchair accessible and feature facilities designed to be accessible for all.
ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION
If you are interested in an educational or activity visit for any type of group, we have two main options at Rosliston.
For Environmental Education, our on-site team can help you build your own programme of curriculum-linked environmental investigation and focused learning with an emphasis on learning through fun.
For physical activity, we have our ‘Get Active in the Forest’ programme, linked to the Derbyshire School Sports Partnership.
We will combine both services to tailor-make a day for you. It doesn’t matter who you contact first!
Both teams also deliver outreach activities to your school or local park.

WEDDINGS
If you prefer a traditional church service or registry office ceremony then why not have your reception at The Glade?
Weddings at The Glade offer something a little different to most traditional wedding venues with unique outdoor activities as part of your reception.
THE HUB CAFE
Relax, grab a bite to eat or linger over a drink in the heart of the forest at the fully licensed Hub Café.
Boasting panoramic views over the woodland as well as an outdoor-seated area. Take time out to enjoy hot and cold snacks and drinks anytime from 10am until 4pm ( winter hours ) 10am until 5pm ( from April 1st). Well behaved dogs on leads welcomed.
Eat in or take away, restaurant meal or picnic, teas and coffee, the choice is yours at the cafe.
ACCESSIBILITY
Rosliston Forestry Centre has been designed for visitors with a variety of different accessibility needs.
The Centre itself offers Free Parking for Disabled Blue Badge Holders and around half of the site’s surface paths are fully accessible for wheelchair users. Other pathways are comprised of grass or gravel.
