School Visits

Apple Day Market

Based at Rosliston Forestry Centre, we have been organising a range of public events, and school visits across the district since 1994.

For families and other visitors these include Apple Day and Hallowe'en events, and outdoor activities like pond-dipping.

For schools we offer curriculum-based activities, based on exploration and investigation (and including environmental games) in our woods and meadows.

Our aim is to provide opportunities for people to learn about the environment whilst having fun!

We are part of South Derbyshire District Council, supported by The National Forest Company & Rolls-Royce plc.
