There is a lot you can do here on any day you visit, including Soft Play, Fishing and cycling. Check facility opening times on 01283 563483.

The site itself is open every day, and there is a lot you can do without paying - like visit the bird hide, or have fun on the outdoor adventure play equipment. In season, there is a lot of fruit to be picked from the Forest, including sloes, elderberries, and blackberries in autumn, the occasional hazel nut (if you can beat the squirrels to them!) and even cherries in July.

If you want to pick crab apples, other apples or sweet chestnuts please check with us first, as we do use them for some education activities and need to see them on the trees until mid-end Oct!
Our site is famous for its access to "Conker Alley" and there are lots of conkers to be collected along the boundary footpath.

If you want a theme to your walk, there are various trail leaflets you can download free or buy from the barn shop. Examples include the Teddy Trail and the Tree Myths Trail

We also organise public events - this year's programme can be viewed on the events page, or you can have a copy posted to you if you email the Centre Managers (see "Contact Information" page). We also run courses from arts and crafts to archery, and can put on special activities for groups (see School & Group Information / Bookings page)

In school holidays we have a range of activity ideas for kids and their families.
