Join us for our FREE online event looking for minibeasts in one of our gardens – then put it into practice yourselves and tell us what you find!  Over the summer we will be posting minibeast “teaser” photos to see if you can identify them too.  We hope to organise real minibeast hunting events again soon – once we have an online booking system so we can manage numbers.

Grabbit for your Rabbit – a real event on site here at Rosliston! FREE

Tuesday 01st September 2020
2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Have fun and explore outdoors. Learn about the type of plants in the meadow and begin to understand about meadow management and biodiversity. Collect hay for your furry friends.  Even run in partnership with Burton Conservation Volunteers.  Bring your own bags and gloves and make sure you observe social distancing rules.  If busy there may be a short wait.

Please note we are monitoring the meadow of the summer and removing any plants that we spot that might be harmful so are doing our best to make the hay completely safe for pets!  The meadow will be cut using scythes.  Please make sure you feed it to your pet within 24 hours or leave it to dry out first as if you leave it in the plastic bag it could start to ferment and upset your pet’s tummy.  Make sure you only collect hay in the areas we point out to you on the day.
