Book a place on one of our Forest Bathing Walks at Rosliston Forestry Centre. Led by a Certified Forest Bathing Guide, book your place and take part in sensory experiences and a short walk. Benefits include; reduced stress levels and improvement to your immune system, reconnect with nature and each other. This is a nature-inspired wellness practice (Shinrin-Yoku). No swimming involved!! Birds are not the only creatures to produce eggs! Come to the classroom between 2pm and 3.30pm. Explore the site to discover what else might be laying eggs, and where! Return to the classroom by 3.30pm for help with identification. £2.50 per group/set of resources borrowed.

Nature inspired life planning course. Unlock nature’s secrets to happiness, resilience, health and well-being. This course comprises of three dates; 22nd April, 29th April & 13th May 2020. Part of the National Forest Walking Festival. Join us for a guided walk and be a Rosliston nature detective!! We will be looking for clues to tell us what lives on the site, what it needs to survive and discovering many other interesting facts. Gather in the classroom from 2pm to start promptly at 2.15pm. Session will finish between 3.30pm and 4pm. £2.50 per child taking part (must be accompanied by an adult).

Willow is both useful and environmentally beneficial. Come and make beautiful stars/dream catchers/butterflies and more while learning how we maintain our willow features. Follow the signs to the willow fence from 2pm to 3.30pm. Session finishes at 4pm. £2.50 per child taking part.

Have fun and explore outdoors. Learn about the type of plants in the meadow and begin to understand about meadow management and biodiversity. Rake and collect hay for your furry friends. Identify meadow plants with books and ID sheets. Event run in partnership with Burton Conservation Volunteers. Bring your own bags. FREE!!
