Environmental Education Project Outreach.

Many of the activities we offer here at Rosliston also work well in your school grounds or local woodland.  We can also help you plan and deliver your curriculum lessons outdoors to enable positive experiences and learning – whilst also increasing opportunities for social distancing outdoors!

We can help schools plan their own activities – including help with Health and Safety requirements.

Alternatively, book a member of our environmental education staff to lead the activities for you. Our activities cover the curriculum for KS1 and KS2 and we can also develop activities for other groups including KS3 and also for cubs, brownies, scouts etc.

Outreach at Rosliston

Our specialities include:

– School nature clubs
– Helping plan wildlife gardens and vegetable growing projects
– Supporting school eco-committees
– Help to develop Forest School activities
– Special events.

We charge our basic rate of £55/hr, plus travel expenses. We will travel to any school in South Derbyshire, and to other locations within half an hour’s drive of Rosliston.

We also have resources you can borrow for a small fee, with instructions and resources, to be able to lead your own activities.

Contact us to discuss your specific requirements or look at the School Visit Programme for details of our Outreach programme and loans boxes which is on the Schools and Group Information page.
