Rosliston Forestry Centre has a range of outdoor activities for people of all ages and abilities, including activities for people with disabilities.

Outdoor Activities for Everyone at Rosliston.

There a large number of activities to choose from which vary in pace and level of excitement but most importantly, give you the opportunity to try something new or different to the typical days out in countryside.

We have activities for families looking for a great day out or more formal forest themed educational activities for school trips and clubs. Whatever your group, we’ve got something you’ll enjoy and you can make a day of it by bringing a picnic or having a barbeque.

Dogs are welcome at Rosliston, except at certain Special Events.

Walks and Guides around Rosliston. Head off on your own or join one of our special guided walks. Rosliston is a delight to explore on foot.

Laser Games

For an extra adrenaline rush, there’s no beating laser games!

Nordic Walking

A fantastic low-impact body workout in a beautiful setting. Regular Thursday and Monday morning sessions start at 10am. Monday evenings at 6pm (April to October).  Prices per person: £1.50 if using your own poles, £3.00 including pole hire.

Tai Chi

Every Tuesday at the Centre, 3.30pm to 4.30pm. Suitable for beginners. Price £3.50 per person.

Play Areas

Soft Play and Outdoor Play areas for children under the age of 8 years.
