The Glade provides the local community and surrounding areas with an outdoor stage in the natural surroundings of the forest, which can accommodate an audience of over 500. The proscenium stage is perfect for music, dance and display shows, complete with quality sound and lighting equipment ready for both professional and amateur use. The stage area makes a fantastic studio space for smaller, more intimate theatre and music experiences. There is a dressing room available and ample storage space for those needing the extra space. There is also a marquee in the arena, which can accommodate up to 300 and can be used as additional event space. Each summer there is a programme of events and performances for all to enjoy, from dance extravaganzas to Last Night of the Proms.
