Guidance Notes \/ House Rules\/ Disclaimer (this version is also on the paper forms)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nAll repairs carried out at the Repair Caf\u00e9 Rosliston SDDC are performed at the customer\u2019s own risk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\nThe advice and repair service is conducted by experienced and competent volunteers and there is no charge<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n\nDonations are welcomed \u2013 these help cover costs including the purchase of tools and equipment and the development of the service.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n\nAll customers are required to complete a registration form before any repairs can be contemplated. A separate registration form must be completed for each item. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n\nIf the Repair Caf\u00e9 is busy, customers will be able to have one item repaired but may need to rejoin queue for additional items. A time limit per item may be applied eg 1 hr.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n\nCustomers are expected to remain with the repairer while the repair is being carried out in order to see how the repair is being done and to learn new skills. Should the customer decide to leave the repairer at any point, we can not take responsibility for the security and storage of the item and it is left at your own risk.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n\nNeither the organisers of Repair Caf\u00e9 Rosliston SDDC nor the repairers in personal capacities or otherwise offer any guarantee for any repairs carried out with or without their help and are not liable for:any loss or injury whatsoever that may result from any repair carried out…for any advice or instructions given and used at a later date<\/li><\/ul>\n\nfor any accidental damage that may occur to goods….<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n…if any repaired items do not work properly at home or break down again in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\nShould advice be given about the safety of any item, this will be logged at the time and a photograph taken of any faulty components<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n\nThe customer is responsible for providing any consumables such as leads, plugs, fuses, zips, etc. that may be needed to fully complete a repair.
