Please protect our site, wildlife and other visitors:
- Enjoy the views, walks and other activities and enjoy playing in the woods.
- When you have finished exploring, please leave the fallen leaves, sticks and logs where you found them for the wildlife to live in.
- Recycle, compost or re-use your litter where possible.
- Please clean up after your dog! Free bags are available from Reception. Please take all of your dog’s mess and other litter to the bins provided, or take it home.
- We welcome well-behaved dogs but please keep them on leads on and around surfaced paths, play areas, ponds and picnic areas. On the rest of the site, dogs must be under close control: this means within sight and returning to heel when called.
- Please clean down your dirty kit, including boots, bikes and buggies between visits to prevent pests and plant diseases from moving from one place to another.
- You are welcome to take hedgerow fruits but please leave some for the wildlife. Please look after our trees and only take what you can reach – more info here.
- For self-led groups of any size – please ensure you discuss activities, safety and proposed location on site with us in advance.
