Accessibility
Rosliston Forestry Centre has been designed for visitors with a variety of different accessibility needs.
The Centre offers free parking for Blue Badge holders and around half of the site’s surface paths are fully accessible for wheelchair users. Other pathways are comprised of grass or gravel.
Adult Mobility Scooters can be hired from our shop – £2 for 2hrs. Wheelchairs are available for free. Both are subject to availability.
A fully accessible toilet can be found in the main building and features wheelchair access, a wetroom shower and an Adult Changing Bed with hoist.
ACCESSIBLE ACTIVITIES
Our Children’s’ Play Areas are wheelchair-accessible and also feature specialist play equipment suitable for use by disabled guests. Specific equipment includes a roundabout, a swing, and a slide.
Ramps and railings can be found at all building entrances such as the Café, Shop and Play Areas and all buildings feature widened doorways for ease of access for wheelchair users.
Many of our activities are also suitable for disabled visitors to participate in, including Falconry and Soft Play.
