ENVIRONMENTAL TEAM-BUILDING
You and your team/organisation/educational group can now enroll our
Plan-It Earth Challenge.
Planet Earth Challenge is an environmental team building activity at Rosliston Forestry Centre. It is part of a collaboration between South Derbyshire District Council, the National Forest Company and the country’s leading experiential learning organisation, Mobile Team Challenge.

Facing physical challenges, solving dilemmas or playing games as a team can improve team confidence and dynamics and increase personal and leadership skill development and bonding.
It also provides an opportunity for your teams to connect outside the traditional work setting or to come together if working from home is now the norm.
Suitable for ages 16+
Combine this with the opportunity to learn some key concepts about the environment – we can look at your organisation’s priorities to decide which activities to use.
PLAN-IT EARTH activities

The Plan-It Earth activities have been developed with environmental professionals and teambuilding guidance from our partners, MTC Europe.
Activities combine experiential learning challenges with an environmental topic.
Delegates can choose to spend an hour or half-day doing a series of activities or incorporate a few activities into a volunteering or activity day.
Examples
Picture Perfect?
Have you got all the information you need to make a decision? What do different people see when putting the picture together and are you then able to draw useful conclusions? An opportunity to apply the ideas to the complex choices linked to combating climate change.
The Stick Task
Focuses on small ways to improve efficiency – it’s up to you how far you want to take it!
Butterfly Translocation
Working out how to overcome habitat fragmentation and move your team to a new location.
Hidden within a rope
An object is hidden within a rope shape. The aim is to get you to think differently about processes and look at things from multiple perspectives.
Animal Order
Relying on non-verbal communication the team must rearrange themselves in the correct order. Thinking about the broader range of communication styles at work.
Alien Resource Challenge
Can you manage multiple resources at once – what is the breaking point and what are the solutions?
Full programmes are available to take a company through a bespoke programme of employee team building and environmental engagement – these would be delivered jointly by MTC Europe and the Environmental Education Project team, and could be developed with input from you.
