Wellbeing

It can be wonderfully beneficial to experience nature on your own or with others. Come to the woods at Rosliston and enjoy the quiet places as well as the busy play areas.

If you fancy something different, join us at one of our wellbeing activities.

If you run wellbeing activities and are interested in working in partnership with us, please get in touch!

Forest Bathing

Sleep better, increase creativity and improve focus and mood. These are some of the many benefits of Forest Bathing.

Forest Bathing is a nature inspired wellbeing practice made up of ‘invitations’ to help you immerse yourself in the forest atmosphere. These ’invitations’ encourage you to explore nature through your senses.

Boost your wellbeing. Slow down and re-connect with nature. Take time to really notice the forest and feel uplifted.

Forest Bathing is available for 1 hour introductory sessions or 1.5 to 3 hour full sessions. Individual, group, and family options are available.

Think Like a Tree‘ Courses

‘Think Like a tree’ is a course which helps us to plan areas of our lives, such as health and wellbeing, careers, and projects we might want to take part in but just never get round to it. We look at nature and how it can inspire us to be more resilient, cope with change, accept challenges and to grow.

You can then use ideas from the natural world to create a plan to achieve your goals, to discover your niche and to plan and create change in your lives which benefits yourselves, others and the environment.

Options: Introductory 1 hour sessions; half day courses or a 3 day course (can be split over 6x half days).

Both Forest Bathing and Think Like a Tree are led by qualified coaches. They can be combined or experienced separately.

Please contact us if you have specific requirements. We can also signpost you to other opportunities within the local wellbeing networks.
